Set up a traditional Nomadic camp in the sand and watch the sun slip away behind Erg Chebbi’s towering dunes. Climb the dunes for a desert sunrise, then mount your camel for an hour’s ride out of the sand.

Set out on a private, 5-days grand tour from Marrakech to Morocco’s great southern desert, and go deep into the stark African landscape.

DAY 1:MARRAKECH - KASBAH AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE - DADES GORGES

We will start our journey from Marrakech to Dades Gorges across the Tizi n'Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages then we continue to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, you will have lunch at Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate where you’ll visit Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas studios then we continue to Dades Gorges though Roses and Dades valley, we well spend the night in a riad/hotel in Dades Gorges.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES - TODGHA GORGE - MERZOUGA

Morning departure to Merzouga desert, we visit the Palmeraie area which has thousands of palm trees... Then, get to Todgha Gorge visit it by walking tour arround, Continuation through Tinejdad, Erfoud then have lunch at Rissani and visit Alaouit's first King Tomb (Current Moroccan Royal Family). Then we arrive to Merzouga desert where you will enjoy a night in desert hotel.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA DESERT EXCURSION

Ride a camel into the Moroccan desert on an Overnight trip from Mergouza, and sleep beneath Saharan stars. The trek will start with a 1 hour and 30 minute ride by camel into the desert. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with music played on traditional Berber drums in the middle of the Sahara. When we arrive at the camp, we walk to the high dunes to see the sunset. This is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise. It will be a magical night, when the sky is and stars sparkle and shine with intensity. During the evening, there will be a wonderful dinner around a camp-fire, listen to the drums and we will spend the night in nomad tents.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA-TAZARINE-ZAGORA

After attending the sunrise in the desert, you will come back on a camel ride towards the inn. Take a shower and the breakfast then, get ready to head to Draa Valley passing by Alnif and Tazzarine. Arrival by the end of the afternoon to Zagora. Dinner and night in a guest house or hotel.

DAY 5: ZAGORA-AGDEZ-OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH

After breakfast, you will enjoy a discovery tour of Draa Valley. Departure towards Tamgroute (located in 18 Km from Zagora) to visit the coranic library with its old collection of books and potteries, then you will head the road to Tamnougalt Kasbah via Zagora again. Lunch on the spot, then continuing the journey to Ouarzazate via Agdez passing by the anti Atlas.

After a small visit in Ouarzazate especially the Taourirt Kasbah, the cinematographic studios, Tifoultout Kasbah and the amazing Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Return to Marrakech.
