9 DAYS MOROCCO TOUR FROM CASABLANCA: PRIVATE TOUR

DAY 1: CASABLANCA - RABAT - MEKNES

We will meet you at the hotel and we will visit Hassan II Mosque, which has one of the world's longest minarets, and la Corniche, which lies on the shore. Following that, we will drive to Morocco's political capital, Rabat, where we will see ancient landmarks such as the Chellah Necropolis, a royal burial place built atop the ruins of a Roman port city in 40CE. Following that, we will see the mellah, the Oudaya Kasbahs, and the medina before we drive to Meknes wehre we stay in a local riad/hotel.

DAY 2: MEKNES - VOLUBILIS - FES GUIDED MEDINA TOUR

After breakfast, we continue our private Morocco tour from Meknes to Volubilis, where we explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Following the guided excursion, we travel to Morocco's oldest city. Sahara Guided Tours offers a 9-day tour to Casablanca, Morocco. We will visit the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish district, and other cultural and historical attractions such as Al Qaraouine University, the Tanneries, and the Mulay Idriss mausoleum if you prefer walking through its alleys and small streets. We spent the night in a nearby riad.

DAY 3: FES - AZROU - IFRANE - MIDELT

After breakfast, we will drive to Ifrane, known as "the Moroccan Switzerland," and Azrou, going through the Middle Atlas Mountains on the "Tizi n t'lghamt pass." During our journey, we will stop in a variety of locations to take photographs, and we will have lunch in Midelt, where we will spend overnight in a hotel with dinner.

DAY 4: MIDELT - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA CAMEL RIDE AND NIGHT IN A SAHARA CAMP

Departure to the desert via the Ziz valley with its palm palms, Erfoud, and a visit to the fossil industry. We fly to the Sahara Desert to see the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. We prepare for camel trekking by watching the sunset and spending the evening at a Sahara camp, eating Moroccan food and listening to Berber music, which you can participate in by drumming and dancing. Spend the night in a private tent.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT - TODGHA GORGES - DADES GORGES

Today we will watch the sunrise in the desert before riding camels back to the village. After breakfast at the riad, you will depart for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todgha Canyons, Morocco's tallest and narrowest gorges. We'll drive to the Dades Valley after lunch, where you'll view gorgeous sand castles and fascinating rock formations known as "monkey toes." Overnight accommodations will be in a posh hotel with a view of the Dades Valley.

DAY 6: DADES VALLEY - ROSES VALLEY - OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU KASBAH - MARRAKECH

Following breakfast at the hotel. Then drive through the Valley of Roses to reach Kalaa M'gouna and Skoura before arriving in Ouarzazate, dubbed as the Hollywood of Africa, and stopping at Atlas Film Studios, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. Ait Benhaddou Kasbah is one of several locales that have served as natural decorations for numerous films such as "Alexender, Gladiator, Babel..." and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. We will drive to Marrakech in the afternoon, going through the Tizi N'tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Arrival in Marrakech and drop-off at your hotel.

DAY 7: MARRAKECH GUIDED SIGHTSEEING TOUR

After breakfast, you will begin a sightseeing tour of Marrakech, which was founded by the Almoravidian monarchy in the XII century. You will see the most significant cultural and historical sites. You will have the opportunity to visit the Saadian tombs, Majorelle Gardens, and the Koutoubia Mosque (Tower). Furthermore, our guide will take you to view the Bahia Palace, the city Souk, and then you will proceed to the famous square of the medina where you will see and discover the interesting serpent's magician, "funny seminars" where some professional or amusing individuals tell fantastic stories, and so on. You will have free time in the afternoon to roam about and explore other parts of the city on your own. Stay the night in a nearby hotel.

DAY 8: FREE DAY IN MARRAKECH WITH OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

During this day, you will have the option of participating in a culinary class to learn how to prepare a Moroccan cuisine, or simply taking it easy and resting.

DAY 9: MARRAKECH - TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

In the morning after breakfast enjoy free program, then we will drive to Casablanca centre or Casablanca airport.
