DAY 1: CASABLANCA - RABAT - MEKNES - FES

We will tour this dynamic city after breakfast; it is a blend of sites and culture; its friendly people, the lanes of its souk. We will see the Hassan II Mosque, the world's second largest, a stunning structure with spectacular views of the sea, as well as the most attractive portions of this city, such as the Boulevard de la Corniche, the United Nations Park, and the Mohamed V Square. We will proceed to Rabat; surrounded by many walls, the medina of Rabat reflects the soul of the ancient city, with its magnificent carpets, metalwork artists, and the many craftsmen who exercise their art in front of passers-by. We will be able to see the Royal Palace, Mohamed V's Mausoleum, and the Hassan Tower, among other places. We will continue our tour by visiting the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where we will walk through the ruins. We will proceed to Meknes, the most modest of Morocco's four Imperial Cities; there is simply something about it that makes it a distinct place, much quieter and easygoing; we will tour its souks, the El-Hedim plaza, the Bab el Mansour gate, and we will arrive in Fez in the afternoon. Dinner and lodging are included.

DAY 2: FES SIGHTSEEING - IFRAN - AZROU - MIDELT

After breakfast, we travel to Fes, which was once regarded as one of the greatest towns in Islamic history. Walking the streets of Fes's old town will transport you back in time, but to get the most out of the city, we spend the morning with an expert Fes guide who will take you to some of the city's hidden treasures. We have a guided tour of the Royal Palace, the pottery centre, Quaraouiyine University, the Tanneries, the Bouinania Medersa (school), and the lively Medina. We'll drive to Midelt via Imouzzer and Ifrane after a delicious lunch. We'll spend the night and eat in Midelt at a local hotel.

DAY 3: MIDELT - MERZOUGA DESERT CAMEL RIDE AND NIGHT IN A DESERT CAMP

After breakfast, we go across the Ziz valley, stopping in Erfoud, Rissani, and finally Merzouga. We will ride camels to a desert camp in the heart of Erg Chebbi, accompanied by an expert camel guide. The desert Camel Ride to the camp takes about 45 minutes. Then we'll watch the sunset across the dunes before dinner, which will be served beside the bonfire. We'll be spending the night in desert tents.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA - RISSANI - TINGHIR - TODGHA GORGES - DADES GORGES

Today we will watch the sunrise in the Merzouga desert before riding camels back to the settlement. After breakfast and a quick wash, we travel to Rissani, then to Tinghir and the Todgha Gorge. It is Morocco's tallest and narrowest gorge. After lunch in the gorge, we will drive through the Dades valley, admiring the rock formations known as monkey toes. We spend the night at Dades Valley and have dinner and breakfast.

DAY 5: DADES GORGES - AIT BENHADDOU - TIZI N'TICHKA - MARRAKECH

After breakfast, our journey will continue through the Dades Valley, which has a considerably bigger variety of sceneries than the Todra Valley, with truly stunning gorges and canyons that will make our journey so pleasurable. We drive through Kelaat M'gouna, commonly known as the Valley of Roses because to the extensive cultivation of roses for a variety of purposes. We will arrive in Ouarzazate and tour the city's principal attractions, including the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Taourirt, which was formerly the palace of one of the region's most prominent governors. We visit some of the world's largest film studios, dubbed "Hollywood of Africa." This tour takes you through the history of cinema. We will continue our journey till we reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, another UNESCO World Heritage Site perched on a hill near to the Ounila River, which was the old path of caravans between the Sahara and Marrakesh. This small village is also well known for the filming of several great films, including "Lawrence of Arabia," "Babel," and many others. Our journey continues across the Tichka pass, which at 2260m in elevation is the highest drivable mountain pass in North Africa. We will enjoy the mountains as well as the stunning Berber communities that we will encounter along the way. We arrive in the middle of the afternoon in the Red City of Marrakech. Our services have come to an end.

DAY 6: MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING TOUR

This morning, after breakfast, we will experience the charms of Marrakesh via the eyes of a guide, with its medina full of history, the colorfulness of its maze of small alleyways, the delights of the souks, and the lively Jemaa El Fna Square among the highlights of this visit. Explore the Saadian Tombs, one of Marrakech's most visited attractions, which were opened to the public in 1917, the year they were discovered. In the same garden, there are over 100 mosaic-decorated graves where the bodies of the Saadian dynasty's servants and warriors are buried. We also go to the Bahia Palace, which was built with the purpose of being the largest palace of all time. You will walk by the Koutoubia Mosque, one of the city's most recognisable monuments, which stands out due to its 69-metre-high minaret, making it the city's highest edifice. We visit the famed Djemaa El Fna Square, which serves as the centre of the Medina and is surrounded by a tangle of narrow streets and alleyways. You'll be astonished, too, when the area transforms from a wonderful souk by day to a swarm of food stalls where people assemble for dinner at night. This evening will include a special supper, an entertainment, and hotel accommodations.
